The Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA) is now stepping up in the biggest travel trade exhibition for the promotion and marketing of domestic and inbound tourism through the yearly Philippine Travel Mart. The national event aligns to the celebration of the 50th Founding Anniversary of ASEAN in which the Philippines is the host country.
The 28th PTM aims to promote and develop the local market that will result in generating more business opportunities and income for the exhibitors from different regions of the country. The three-day event will highlight tour offerings of the Philippines twinned with ASEAN destinations + China, Japan and Korea (ASEAN +3). The main feature of the event include Sale ng Bayan that encourages travelling consumers to “book and buy” promotional holiday packages and Cultural Events that will stage different shows and competitions.
The Department of Tourism Cagayan Valley Region together with the local government units of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino and cities of Ilagan, Cauayan, Santiago and Tuguegarao, as well as the DOT accredited tour operators will showcase on a 36 sq. mts. pavilion. The 28th Philippine Travel Mart will be on September 1-3, 2017 at SMX Convention Center, Halls 1,2,3 & 4 , Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City, Philippines.
For the local tourism industry, the 28th PTM will be an opportunity to promote its strengths, opportunities, products and services. The region’s participation to the 28th PTM will help sustain as well as develop the region’s tourism potentials.
